The Ombudsman's Casebook
The quarterly Ombudsman's Casebook provides summaries of complaints the Ombudsman has dealt with over the previous months. It is useful for service providers to learn from our examination of complaints and see what other similar organisations are doing well, and not so well.
The Casebook describes complaints (both Upheld and Not Upheld) across all the areas the Ombudsman deals with, e.g. Health, Social Welfare, Education, Local Government (inc. Planning, Housing, Roads and Water Supply), Environment, Agriculture, Equality, Taxation and payments/benefits received by the public.
The Casebook is published in PDF format and can be read online, downloaded or printed.
