The Ombudsman may also investigate complaints concerning compliance by public bodies and some other bodies with Part 3 of the Disability Act 2005. Details of how to make such a complaint can be found in the "Disability Act 2005" section of this site.
Certain bodies e.g. financial institutions, An Garda Síochána, Defence Forces, third level colleges and universities are outside the Ombudsman's remit. Our website has links, however, to other complaint handling bodies which may be able to assist you.
